June 47:00 – 11:00 PMConnect with East Village Radio IRL on June 4th for a special DJ night at Commodore II featuring a lineup of EVR hosts and resident DJs spanning the station’s wide-ranging musical universe. The night celebrates the station’s legacy of discovery, community, and genre-defying programming that continues to influence independent radio culture in NYC today. East Village Radio helped define New York’s independent online radio scene as one of the city’s earliest internet radio stations, broadcasting live from the heart of the East Village and creating a home for DJs, artists, musicians, and downtown culture long before streaming radio became commonplace. Known for its eclectic programming and deeply local spirit, EVR became a vital platform for New York’s creative community and helped shape the sound of independent radio in the city.
