WFUV's "NY Slice" program celebrates and amplifies local musicians from all over the Tri-State area. Each weekday WFUV's mid-day host Alisa Ali shares a different "slice" of local sounds on air with her listeners, and beyond! 

Come hang with WFUV and see some current "NY Slice" favorites perform LIVE, meet folks from the station, and learn more about why radio stations like WFUV are essential to the city's local music scene.

co-sign PRESENTS

This year, New York Music Month and co-sign launch Radio City, a series celebrating one of New York City’s most essential resources — independent non-commercial radio stations. All throughout June, some of NYC’s finest stations - WFMU, WFUV, WKCR, WNYC, WNYE, The Lot Radio -  will host FREE events with community partners to re-introduce themselves to the city, share their mission and musical identities, and educate artists on avenues of access to airplay and music fans on exposure to the airwaves.
