Experience the sound of WFMU—New York’s legendary freeform radio station—live and in person at Union Pool. This event showcases some of the local bands the station is championing, with performances that reflect WFMU’s boundary-pushing, genre-spanning spirit.

Come meet the station’s programmers, connect with fellow music lovers, and learn how to get involved—whether you’re an artist looking to get your music on air or a fan who wants to support one of NYC’s most vital independent platforms for experimental and underground sound.

WFMU broadcasts on 91.1 and 91.9 FM in NYC and NJ, 90.1 and 91.9 FM in the Hudson Valley, and streams online.

Radio City

co-sign PRESENTS

This year, New York Music Month and co-sign launch Radio City, a series celebrating one of New York City’s most essential resources — independent non-commercial radio stations. All throughout June, some of NYC’s finest stations - WFMU, WFUV, WKCR, WNYC, WNYE, The Lot Radio -  will host FREE events with community partners to re-introduce themselves to the city, share their mission and musical identities, and educate artists on avenues of access to airplay and music fans on exposure to the airwaves.
