I AM I (Immigration and Music Initiative) is a NYC-based event series celebrating the global roots of music. Founded by multi–Grammy Award-winning producer Mr. Sonic, I AM I highlights the powerful impact of immigrant artists on both local and international music culture.

Through workshops, events, and mentorship, the initiative fosters cultural belonging while providing vital platforms for performance, networking, and education—especially within underserved communities across New York City.
