Timothy Pattison is Senior Director, Creative at Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI). In this role, he is responsible for scouting and signing new songwriters and publishers, maintaining relationships with BMI affiliates around the world, and coordinating a variety of songwriter focused showcases. These include BMI’s Speed Dating for Songwriters, the monthly Acoustic Lounge, and the BMI Stage at major festivals such as Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza, and SXSW, among others. He also serves as a frequent guest lecturer at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. 

Since joining BMI in 2015, Pattison has played a key role in maintaining the organization’s relationships with a wide range of successful artists, including Doja Cat, Dove Cameron, Dom Dolla, Ice Spice, RIOTUSA, Yung Gravy, and many more. 
Before BMI, Pattison held positions at Fat Possum Records and Spirit Music Group. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Ohio University and a Master of Music Technology from New York University.
