Latin Grammy winning, multiple Latin Grammy and 2x Grammy nominated vocalist, violinist, Guitarron player, composer, arranger and producer. Dominican and Mexican raised in Puerto Rico where she began her musical education being a graduating member of the San Juan Children’s choir and witnessing her father perform mariachi on the island. Developed her career in New York where she created very unique projects including Flor de Toloache- NY’s first all-female mariachi.
She has been named as the “Queen of Ranchera '' by NPR but her versatility in genres and improvisational skills both on vocals and violin, is what makes her a unique artist. A proud Afro Latina, governor of the Recording Academy NY Chapter and involved in She is the Music always representing and advocating for her community. She has collaborated with John Legend, Alicia Keys, Miguel, H.E.R, Dan Auerbach, Natalia La Fourcade, Chucho Valdés, Omar Sosa, Eddie Palmieri, Robert Glasper, Cafetacvba, Monlaferte, Gaby Moreno, Camilo Lara, Lila Downs, Sara Bareilles, Chicano Batman, Adrian Quesada and many more.
