Lauren Soares

Lauren Soares is a Brooklyn-based artist and nonprofit professional with over a decade of experience advancing arts organizations through strategic development, fundraising, and community engagement. She currently serves as the Individual Giving Manager, Studio Collective Liaison, and Bloomberg Tech Fellow at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, where she combines her passion for the arts with a talent for driving growth and building meaningful relationships.

As an artist, she performs under the name laur, crafting ethereal dark pop and earning recognition for immersive, multimedia shows across New York, the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, and Mexico. Her work—both creative and professional—centers on uplifting the arts and empowering artists to thrive.
