Golnar Khosrowshahi
Golnar Khosrowshahi is the Founder and CEO of Reservoir, an award-winning independent music company headquartered in New York City with operations in Los Angeles, Nashville, Toronto, London, Abu Dhabi, and Mumbai. Established in 2007, Reservoir is the first female founded and led publicly traded independent music company in the U.S. Under Golnar’s leadership, Reservoir has grown to own and administer copyrights and master recordings, with titles dating back to 1900. Golnar continues to lead the team in building a well-attended roster and an established catalog, including Joni Mitchell, Snoop Dogg, Miles Davis, Hans Zimmer and more. She has been recognized for her contributions on lists by Billboard, Forbes, Variety, Fast Company, Music Week and more. Furthermore, Reservoir has twice been awarded both Publisher of the Year at Music Business Worldwide’s The A&R Awards and Independent Publisher of the Year at the Music Week Awards.
Golnar also serves on the boards of National Music Publishers’ Association, NMPA’s S.O.N.G.S. Foundation, Silkroad, and the New York Philharmonic.
