Anand Wilder
Anand Wilder is best known as co-founder of the 00’s indie rock band Yeasayer. In 2022, Wilder released his first post-Yeasayer solo album, I Don’t Know My Words, on Last Gang Records, largely heralded by the likes of Pitchfork, NPR Music, and NME for bringing to mind the acoustic instrumentation and precise arrangements of Donovan, T. Rex, Aldous Harding, Elliott Smith and Fairport Convention.
His most recent project, Psychic Lessons (which came out in August of 2025 via Last Gang), is a swirling indie-psychedelic pop journey blending lush textures and haunting melodies, with lyrics ranging from biting satire to earnest love songs. Known for shaping the experimental pop sound of the 2010s, Wilder channels his boundary-pushing instincts into a cinematic solo vision.
