Alisha Outridge is a creative technologist, AI strategist, and founder of Byte&Chord—a strategic advisory and product innovation firm that builds AI-powered solutions for the music industry, creative businesses, and academic institutions. With 20+ years of experience at the intersection of deep tech and culture, Alisha brings a rare blend of executive strategy, product leadership, and artistic vision to the companies she builds and advises.
Her past roles include serving as CTO/CPO of TuneCore, acting as a key co-inventor on patented AI/ML initiatives at Facebook (now Meta), and building computer vision AI (acquired by Apple) that became foundational to Apple’s ARKit. Earlier in her career, she led personalization at iHeartRadio during Clear Channel’s transformation into iHeartMedia.
Through Byte&Chord, Alisha advises and supports product and technology strategy for music tech startups like Hangout.fm, Toniq and Tapped.AI, global distribution platforms, A&R tools and major players like Napster. She also teaches business entrepreneurship, AI & emerging technology leadership at Brown University and Hunter College, and runs fellowship programs that help executives, founders, and creatives apply AI in practical, business-forward ways.
