Nailah Blackman is a Trinidadian singer and songwriter known for her work in the soca genre. She is the daughter of calypso star Abbi Blackman and granddaughter of Ras Shorty I (Garfield Blackman), the creator of soca music. Nailah's musical journey began early, with her singing at the age of five and entering a calypso competition two years later. She has gained national and international recognition for her music and performances, including collaborations with Kes and performances at events like Coachella.
