Attorney / Musician / Clinical Associate Professor of Music Business, NYU Steinhardt

Judy Tint is an attorney, educator, and musician, with over 25 years of experience representing artists, songwriters, industry executives, and more. She has been on the faculty of the NYU Music Business Program since 2008, and has served for over a decade as a Governor of The Recording Academy's NY Chapter. She is Immediate Past Chair of the ABA Forum on the Entertainment and Sports industries, and a longtime Board member of the Rhythm and Blues Foundation. Judy is a frequent speaker at industry conferences across the country, and has made many trips to Capitol Hill as an advocate for artists’ rights. Judy is also a singer and percussionist, and has performed at Carnegie Hall, The Ryman Auditorium, Radio City Music Hall, Portland Waterfront Blues Festival, Broadway’s Palace Theatre, and London’s REWIND Festival, as well as appearing on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien” and on various PBS specials.
