Thanks to support from the Mayor’s Office of Media Entertainment, musicians rehearse for FREE at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music during NY Music Month! We have 630 free hours to give away between June 1-30 at our home in Park Slope, and each individual artist can book up to 3 hours of free rehearsal time.

Our 17 light-filled studios—each with a Steinway piano—are ideal for musicians, composers, and theater-makers. We offer guitar and bass amps in select studios, as well as mirrors and whiteboards.

As part of NY Music Month and thanks to generous support from the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media + Entertainment, Fenix Studios is proudly offering FREE rehearsal space to all local musicians during the month of June, 2024.

Fenix Studios is a 10,000 square foot uniquely accessible creative environment that is home to 6 rehearsal studios, 2 recording studios, 1 production songwriting room, a white cyclorama studio, as well as a podcast studio. With a heavy focus on inclusivity, Fenix Studios prides itself on welcoming all levels of talent and ability. Rehearsal studios are equipped with at least two guitar amplifiers, a bass rig, 5-piece drum kit, an upright piano, and microphones through a professional PA system.

As part of NY Music Month and thanks to generous support from the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media + Entertainment, Greenwich House Music School (GHMS) is proudly offering FREE rehearsal space to all local musicians during June 2024. Our 14 studios contain a mix of both upright and grand pianos and each room has a fan or air-conditioner, window, and access to wifi and restrooms. GHMS is conveniently located in the heart of the West Village, near the Christopher St 1 Train and West 4th St subways stations (A, C, E, B, D, F, and M trains).

Astoria Soundworks, in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME), will be offering New Yorkers free rehearsal sessions in June for NY Music Month. Sign-up for up to one 2-hour session per person per week. Our Standard rooms are equipped with a full backline of professional gear such as Yamaha Oak Custom Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Marshall 2000 & Mesa Dual Rec Amps, full 8×10 Ampeg Bass Rigs, Fender Twin & Hot Rod Combos, Yamaha 88-weighted key keyboards, Shure SM58 Mics and Mackie Boards… Virtually everything a group of musical artists need to let their talent fly to its limits. We have a professional staff that make it their priority to see to it that every guest has the best experience possible.
